OP should add the required port in is limited to transfers from specific providers. It looks like they're targeting post paid service, so anyone with lower cost prepaid service plans might not qualify.

According to the fine print:
"port-in (AT&T, Verizon, Claro, US Cellular, Xfinity, Spectrum & Liberty PR only) required."
Let the price wars begin 😎
I have legacy one plan and pay $100 for 2 lines. There was a promo supposedly for 3rd free line BYOD which Tmobile reps told me Im eligible for and apparently I was not and I found it out later. They kept charging me $40 extra every month for third line until I finally got it somewhat "resolved" through tforce support that indirectly told me that numerous overseas reps I had interaction with just untrained idiots that they had no idea what there were doing. Though there was nothing tforce could done other than issue me a credit for 12 month. After that period I will switch to other carrier. This particular deal is good on paper but be aware because Tmobile are notorious in screwing up their customers and usually blatantly lie about promotions and it just a matter of time until they will fail you. Im not saying dont get this deal, but just be cautious!

Found this on their deals page

LIMITED-TIME ONLINE DEAL
Keep your phone and save when you switch.
Pay only $50 per month.
For 1 line with Autopay & an eligible payment method. Switch online to T-Mobile and bring your own phone to save $120 a year with our Essentials Saver plan vs. a similar plan at Verizon. Plus, when you switch, we'll pay off your phone up to $800 via virtual prepaid Mastercard.

And yet, they seem to be able to figure it out when they bill you and hundreds or thousands of other people in your area who pay exactly the same taxes and fees. Funny how that is.
Not necessarily, some of the state/county/city taxes are based on your bill amount as well. (%), It does become complicated and also depends on # of lines (or some based on per account), also depends on which "add-ons" that you do order or how much of charged long distance calls you make.
Very difficult for a CS to answer exactly based on simple "How much tax will there be if I get this plan with 4 lines". That said, they should be able to give you close ball park figure if you supply exact billing address.

Single line accounts are best served by Prepaid providers like Visible, US Mobile, etc.

Postpaid providers like Vz, Tmo, ATT want at least 3 lines on the same account, if not more, to see any type of savings on a per-line basis.

I recently switched over to a welcome unlimited plan through verizon for four iphones. We are receiving bill credits for the phones currently. Do you think through this deal that T mobile will also provide a credit for us to pay off our current verizon phones and then use them to trade in?

This would be super appealing if they offered Pixel 8 phones for Android users but I can see this being a good deal for iPhone users.

If they didn't include phones, why would it be better to be with T-Mobile vs Google Fi that offers more (international calls MX and CA) for the same price?

Can I switch from T-Mob to T-Mob? If not this is racist and sexist discrimination. I will sue.

A current TMobile customer here: I have a bad experience with TMobile 'deals'. I was promised a free line during the transfer promo, which they bailed out later on a technicality. It cost me both in frustration and the time spent. Eventually I reported them to FCC which finally got things moving.
I'm not saying this is the same thing, just be aware that they can always renege on a promise and there's very little one can do. So, caveat emptor
