My guess is because it is the cheapest option in this category (and the brand probably have coupons more frequently too). Feel free to post a different brand's $9 wall mount if you feel there are others that are being unfairly ignored.

FWIW: I bought this a few months back for a 42" TV, metal is a little thin but seems to hold well. IMO this should be fine for static use where you might need to move the TV for access but not something you'll want to move back and forth daily / several times per day.

P.S. This wall mount has "129,804" reviews. Clearly it is popular with or without SD's help

It's a little quirky the way the coupon works, but it does finally at checkout (during checkout click on apply code). $7? sure why not. Looks identical to one I spent $25 on to mount a TV in a corner. I can either use this to get my monitor off my desk, or save it for next TV purchase.

New TVs are all plastic and weigh nothing. My Sony 65" from 5 years ago probably doesn't weigh 30lbs. The same size one it replaced from 2006 and went into my bedroom? 80lbs+

My new 43" monitor cannot weigh 15-20.
