Why is this getting thumbs down? Not a good deal? Not a good product? Not a good seller? Thumbs down without input isn't helpful Frown

Seems like a good deal. Maybe the fact that it is only useful up to 42" is causing TD? I mean who actually buys a sub 50 inch TV any longer? 😜

Makes sense. People downvote anything without an HDMI port.

I've installed 2 of these. They are fine.

Same here, install a 49 and a 50, both works great. Just make sure the Vesa mount fits and TV weigh is light.

Had this for about 5 years now. I have a 32" tv on it.

Thoughts: when extended, expect that the weight will drag that arm downard a bit. It does look like it is straining. When not extended, it holds fine.

I just wouldnt keep it on full extended mode because I feel as if it can eventually give out due to the tension/stress from the weight.

Bought a similar mount from Home Depot. Installed a cheap 32" fire tv from Best Buy for a workout room in my basement. The tv is extremely lite so no issues here. I want something similar for a 50" but might just go with a 2 stud stand

I installed this on a sloped wall/ceiling a few months ago. I had to build a bracket out of a 2 by 4, but it worked well, and I was able to hang my OLD 40" Samsung (heavy). My wife is pleased.
