These really need to be on a hard, flat surface when you're adjusting weight, or else the plates don't line up correctly. The stand also has holders for the round 2.5 lbs inserts that are used for fine adjustments. Keeps them from rolling away, toppling over or getting misplaced.
These EXPpand to 90s. The last one don't
I own these (all 3 phases) and the stand. I've had for about 5 years and had no issues and like them very much. I've used them for cleans and the weights have stayed intact. I'd buy again if I didn't have them already.

The real deal here is on the expansions. $90 is basically the best price you're going to get for them.

As far as stands, I like the Titan Stand the best. Occasionally it goes on sale for $115.

I really dislike how they feel trying to do curls or overhead presses. Maybe I'm not using them properly, but they try to rotate in my grip and feel unstable.

Do the steel knurled grips help?
A little bit but not really. Presses I'm fine with but I'm not crazy about doing curls with them. I just ended up getting a curl bar instead.

It looks like these have 5lbs of internal cylindrical weights. Does this go to up 95 lbs with those weights in them, or is it up to 90 INCLUDING those weights?
90 total with the little weights inside.

Returning my Powerblock EXP's for this model. Same thing only way less than I spent for EXP's. The 50lb Powerblock EXP's have been enough for me to do a ton of exercises on the Flybird Adjustable Bench, which I highly recommend. See at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...=UTF8&th=1
I got the powerblock exp on a similar woot deal. One handle was a little wonky and powerblock promptly sent a replacement. They have been great. At this price definitely buy all 3 expansions if you ever see your self needing near that weight as they are way more expensive to get later if a deal is not around.

From what I can tell the pair of 90lb Bowflex ones go on sale for around $600 from time to time. no farking around with expansion or whatever. this "deal is $220+90+90 x 2.
x2? All of those prices are for pairs. You get a full set of 90lb adjustable weights for $400 plus tax. You're literally paying 2/3 the price for what many consider to be a superior product.

I was right about these things. I knew when I bought them that I would never use them. LOL

I actually tried to use them a couple of times, but I don't have stands for them. Having to set them on the floor to adjust the weight got old really fast. I did order some stands for them, but UPS said they couldn't find my address and sent stand back to Woot. I took that as a sign to just stop trying.

Anyone North of Houston (Conroe) want them for $60?
I'm in Pearland. Willing to meet up and grab for $60!

I definitely found that the knurled grips helped and greatly added to the utility of the dumbbells.

Does the expansion for these work with the last deal for non-sport EXP version? I got up to 70lb and would like to get the 90lb expansion

Wow these things are a rip off. My brother let me use his that he got as a gift and i must say they don't feel secure at all no matter which way you lift them, always feels like the weight is going to pop out that weak plastic clip...
The clips are supposed to hold up to 500 lbs. Never had any slippage or feeling that these magnetic clips will ever move on me.

Is the bench stable or wobbly?
