Is the mini LED display on this similar to the display on a current MacBook Pro? I think I read the MBP displays can go to 1600 nits for short periods.

Do we really need to star at a laptop with 1600 nits !!! its bad for battery life and I am not sure its optimal for your eyes. I can understand using phone under sun or something. for laptops, you are better off not using it that environment.

Its good to see Mini led laptops deals. It was only seen in uber expensive laptops.

It's more "want" than need. You can do whatever you want. I have an app called VIVID on my MBP16 that gives me FULL brightness (more than normal) and it looks great. Not too bright even indoors in my opinion. Yes, uses more battery, but when plugged in, the extra brightness makes for a really good display.

I am still baffled that we haven't seen a single 64Gb laptop deal yet for a while now, pretty much everything on sale is 16 or in some case 32gb
