I want this... only for outdoor, for controlling smart plugs when temperature drops! Frown
I would have thought it would be something common, but it's not.
Technically could with an android device, tasker, and a little technical elbow grease.

Never would get e-ink for this price. It's nice to dream though.

I recently got a Govee H5075 Bluetooth Hygrometer Thermometer/ I guess this H5104 is a bit more accurate?

There's a Reddit page asking to compare the two models:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Govee/co..._vs_h5075/
I just got the 5075 also, for only slightly less than this newer model. 😥

Make sure to calibrate your hygrometers, they usually come OOB with heavy drift.
How do you calibrate it?

I bought a two pack of these last year and they are both still holding up great.

This works with Home Assistant and is perfect to map all room flucations in one chart and even better for automations that can trigger devices/plugs to toggle on or off - or simply notify your phone when the humidity or temperature hits certain thresholds you set.

It's also a much cheaper alternative to the Nest Sensors if you have thermostat automations set up for specfiic rooms - as long as the device isn't too far from the hub.
Same here - using them with Home Assistant. Happy with them as I had previously bought quite a few temp/humidity sensors but they don't have a screen so you have to open up the UI to view them. For the price, they are great. Range is decent, definitely not as far as my zigbee or z-wave but that's to be expected.

Does anyone know if the gateway for the water leak sensors works for this temperature sensor?
I sent Govee a message through their website and will post back if/when they reply.

Bought one of these to keep track of the temp on my home theater receiver that is in a cabinet.

Every few days I'll open the app and it downloads the last few days of data.

Works well and the screen is perfect to check the temp as needed but also nice that it records over time.

My foundation has had leaks in the past and I'm sure it may happen again (currently working with a company to address this). In the meantime can I use this hygrometer to alert me when I have a water leak in my basement? It typically leaks in a place I don't frequent (a closet) so it'd be nice to know when it happens.

If someone knows of a better device for this situation please let me know

I have the previous model, bought in Aug 2023, started using it probably late Aug or Sep. The battery died last week. Figure 8 months on two brand new duracell coppertop batteries. I've had small hygrometers in the past, and batteries have lasted YEARS. If you don't need the remote viewing function, there are better options out there, because I hate changing batteries.
