How come these batteries don't have the Bluetooth symbol on them?

Probably some inventory clearing before the tabless batteries get released in September

Tried to add it but the format is all screwed up now. Hopefully the links all work! Thanks for pointing it out

Because they don't have Bluetooth.
I believe you're thinking of Octane batteries?

Octane are more or less similar to the Max Output based on the cells (21700) they use in the battery if I recall correctly. The other batteries use cheaper cells (18650). Max Output and Octane will provide more power to certain tools that have an extra tab I believe (mainly brushless tools). Anyone feel free to correct me if I am incorrect in anyway

I would have preferred the 2 4ah batteries to the kit I got a couple of weeks ago with the 2 4ah and 2 2ah and dual port charger, as I really didn't need the 2 ah batteries! Oh well!

Couple weeks isn't too long to return.
2 amp hour batteries are nice for driving screws or doing non-continuous drilling.
But yeah I don't think it's worth the extra $80 myself either.

I like how power tool batterimy prices stagnated while lithium battery prices have plummeted in the last 5 or so years. I'm also a huge fan of all the proprietary format standards so that each brand has a virtual monopoly over what batteries are used with their products.
Yep, this is just peachy.

Found a similar kit with 4 and 6 amp batteries on clearance for $90. I asked an employee if she could do any better, like $10 off and she said " sure, just tell the cashier x said to give me $10 off. She said x is the mgr. So I did and now have the 4 and 6 amp kit for $80. Went home and registered for the lifetime warranty. Score.

There is no "Senior Discount" at Home Depot. Did you mean military discount? Which is 10% off up to a maximum of $400 savings per calendar year.
