Bought a couple of these last time, hard to beat for the price. Image quality is decent, with an SD card you can do timeline playback quickly without paying for "cloud" etc. Probably my only con is no ethernet port. Can stream to other apps as well unlike some cheap cams using RTSP. I'd give Wyze a slight edge in user friendliness but I think these have a slightly better image quality, but I don't have them in the same location to compare head to head (bought some wyze cams for my parents house)

Anyone using these with a self-hosted CCTV app like Blue Iris, Frigate, or Scrypted?

Yes, they work fine. They only have the same problem that every Tapo camera has, which is horrible bitrate that makes low light video smeary and blurry.

I have 3 of these and I'm happy with them. Getting one more to cover another area of my house.

So you can access videos on the sd card through the app or do you have to pull the card out and view with a computer?

Through the app from virtually anywhere .. no need to touch the camera ever again

Good camera, but absolutely horrible bitrate. Anybody have recommendations on a small USB-C powered camera like this, but WAY better bitrate?

As sr_deal said it opens right in the app, of the cameras I've used Wyze is the only other that works as well.

No native HomeKit support. Not sure about homebridge but there is home assistant support (not sure if by the manufacturer or 3rd party)
