Hmm, you're right. Benchmarks suggest it's worse than a GTX 1080 which is mainly what I'm looking at in the $100 used range

I was just looking to get a newer home system, this time with a video card so I could try newer games, like epic freebies that I've been caching up for the past few years and not worried about the very newest games -- I'm happy to wait YEARS for the prices to come down.
FWIW, my previous system was a 4th gen i7 with no video card (bought mid-late 201x?), which worked fine for great games like hades and fallout3, fwiw.
I picked up a refurb prebuilt 12th gen i7 with an 3060 for $600 a few months ago (https://slickdeals.net/f/16866986-lenovo-ideacentre-5i-gaming-i7-12700-rtx-3060-16gb-ram-512gb-ssd-1tb-hdd-w11h-840347600170-ebay-643-99). And this deal seems in-line with that. Ebay has a lot of refurbs to sift through, with any spec you could imagine (but many are not good deals, be careful).
