I bought a 3-pack of these and I have 2 negative concerns about them.

they are just a single-point calibration, not dual or even multi-point. So they are not that accurate at the full range of temperatures and humidity levels(especially humidity).
They refresh readings needlessly fast. Like every 10-15seconds. Do you really need to record temperature changes in your living room that quickly and often? I'd rather it refresh less often but has longer battery life.

Thermostat may be on 70 but depending on the location of the thermostat, the insulation of the house, the devices outputting heat in the house (oven, computers, etc), obviously the temperature can vary greatly room to room.

For me I rent an older townhouse and the (dumb) thermostat is centrally located on the first floor. My upstairs home office and bedroom can get hot/humid during the Summer and cold/dry during the Winter, so it's important for me to know the true temperature of my home office and bedroom versus what the downstairs thermostat states.

Also, portable dehumidifiers/humidifiers exist. So you can do something about it.

you will need an ESP32 with Bluetooth to connect with home assistant

FYI, I've had mine since Jan 6th, 2024 connected via BLE to home assistant and battery life is 61% and 59% on the other. So batt life is pretty good

I have mine connected with Home Assistant just fine using the built in bluetooth of the host system's Intel card without any special add-on hardware. I am using an old laptop motherboard as my hassio server.

Someone figured out how to do this with one of the other Govee hubs. I remember reading about it in a past thread. I suggest you call Govee and ask their tech support.

Curious what the use of the data logging parts are. What do you use them for? I know I use some for my greenhouse, but it's not that useful beyond a day. So what are the other uses people have?
