Dirt Devil means cheapo! Quick research finds this weak suction with leakage.
Dirt Devil -does- mean cheapo. Sometimes, that's all one can do.
The biggest gripe I saw was the dirty water tank's lid being loose, which people solved with a rubberband around the top of the canister. I agree a product shouldn't come with DIY repairs from the get go, but at $50 I can get the occasional soda or dirt stain outta my car's upholstery versus lugging out the full-size carpet cleaner and everything that entails.
I'll likely end up agreeing with you about the suction though. I did watch some video reviews before purchasing and that extractor does NOT look very strong when it's picking up moisture; took most of the content creators more than one pass to get something like chocolate syrup out of a gray shaggy carpet.
I've had this for a couple months and really like it. Found it around this price when walking through Walmart.
Sorry to bother, what's the size of the "smallest" nozzle? I need this for cleaning inside shoes (business related) been looking for something with a small handheld nozzle.
I just bought this for 60 at target. I cleaned my entire car interior with it and I thought it did a fantastic job for the size and price. For a job like that, the only downside is the tank size, so I frequently had to empty the dirty tank and fill the solution tank. I'm super happy with it otherwise.
