I have this fridge. The ice bites Trey started over feeling with water. They sent out two texts then eventually just refunding my money for the fridge had Samsung care.
The larger ice works fine though. For what it's worth make sure you have the warranty.

Hey, it's better than an LG compressor. Not by much but you could do worse.
In my experience, 2014 Samsung freezer and door handle have already failed. 2018 LG compressor failed after 1 year, thankfully under warranty at no charge to me and still going strong.
A little over 1 year. My SamsungCare was for 2 years and was refunded prorated amount.
Great to know thanks. I got a similar Bespoke model with the screen in door from Costco so I think I'm covered for 5 years between Samsung and Costco. I'll have to keep an eye out for this problem. I hope these wouldn't have near the problems as older Samsungs given the ice isn't in the fridge compartment.

That is what I thought! Then one day the small bites stopped producing ice. I checked the tray, defrosted it and emptied it. I ran a test cycle with the button located on the ice maker and found the tray has no issues turning to toss the ice once its frozen. I ran the test again and watched the fridge fill the tray and then fill it so much it spilled over. The Tech they sent to fix it was scratching his head. He looked at me and said why would it over fill the ice tray?
I just laughed and said its all automated IDK He said he would order parts to replace the icemaker and return. A week later I get an email from Assurant Claims that they the fridge was not repairable and they would issue a check for refund.
For what its worth mine is the counter depth model but exactly the same otherwise with beverage center. We decided to pocket the $ for now and continue to use the fridge with just one ice maker. I bought a cheap ice tray on Amazon to manually make small circle balls for now. The large ice works without any issues. Both ice are independent of each other but its the most bizarre thing ever.

My icemaker stopped working years ago and I cannot ever recommend anyone ever purchase one of their fridges.
