@blueletterd: Oh hell no. Do not buy GE. Just got finished replacing my GE french door refrigerator. The compressor died twice in two years. They only warranty everything for a year.

GE = China now, not the same company anymore.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this but Costco appears to have a promo now online, spend $1999 get $300 off. And this Refrigerator (white or stainless steel colors only at Costco) qualifies for this. But, this fridge is $1899 so you'll have to throw in another item that qualifies for this promotion. I threw in a small, Danby 2.1 cu refrigerator for $160 and before taxes, Samsung bespoke 29cu refrigerator with a small additional Danby refrigerator was about $1760. Something to consider with that Costco warranty and service.

Hey, it's better than an LG compressor. Not by much but you could do worse.
I am hoping LG truly fixed their disastrous compressors as I have read- bought a new one so I guess I will find out!

No, they won't.

My icemaker stopped working years ago and I cannot ever recommend anyone ever purchase one of their fridges.
I mean, they do. Bought a fridge in 2016 where the icemaker died by 2018, gave up on it. Called in 2023 after reading about them sending techs out; Samsung sent a tech out 4x out of warranty but free to me to repair the icemaker. Eventually failed again, they refunded me about 60% of the cost of the fridge.

Friends don't let friends buy Samsung refrigerators.
I have a Samsung that has a similar setup but the ice maker is in the fridge section. And yeah it's unusable. It ices over and then you can't even open it to fix it. It's a total mess. I believe it led to a lawsuit. All I know is that I keep a hairdryer near my fridge for when I need the ice maker to work for a weekend...and that's about how long I can keep it from freezing over again. And yes, I replaced the ice maker. Same results. I would not buy another one from them.

Samsung is hot garbage. It's a bottom of the barrel brand for appliances.

Bought this a couple years ago. Deal was posted here. They were offering free panels and used another code for free water filter. Anyway, was a great deal and the fridge has been great. Ice great, holds temp, quite, seems built well and should be good to go.

On a side note, someone mentioned GE. Personally I stopped buying all GE products after the company was sold... I feel like it's GE in name only.

Wow played around in the app for bit and snaged the Counterdepth with Beverage center for cheaper.
Had a pop up for $100 off but the coupon code would not stack
Anyone know if RK app syncs with Samsung app for orders in some way?
I loaded the RK app and clicked the link it opend browser and I clicked shop in app and got and error message. I checked out in the Shop Samsung app as it showed the best deal.
Priced always increased when I added everything to cart then tried to load it in Chrome browser logged into same account on my laptop.

Here is another trick to get absolute lowest possible
  • select customize colors option for panels on the refrigerator page.
  • Select colors for each panel, make sure one color is different and shipping dates are not different from the refrigerator.
  • Do the trade in, care+ etc and in the checkout, you should see each panel as a separate item, start deleting those panels one by one.
  • repeat a couple of times if this doesn't work the first time.
Samsung has Free panel offer - https://www.samsung.com/us/shop/p...nel-offer/ , so you can panels for free.
