They do but the boba itself that they use is ultra sweet. If you search on google or reddit you will see people avoid Kung Fu just bc of the boba (for those looking just for boba teas)
the sweetness and taste are not the issue it's the fact you are paying $7-8 for an 11 oz drink that's highway robbery
Starbucks charges $6 for their 24 oz crafted drinks and they are known to be overpriced.
i always have to buy two because one isnt enough and that's $13 something which is nuts for a slushie drink
$7-9 is typical for decent boba drinks nowadays, but are they worth it? No. I just get them when I go out with friends once a while. Definitely a luxury drink lol, plus you may only be getting mediocre tea flavored sugar water than actual tea.

Replacement for soda from the 90s I guess. Sugar sells itself man.
You adjust how much syrup in it but not the boba, but arent boba sweetness pretty standard? They don't really make it from scratch. Lol
Every single boba popping and tapioca and just literally EVERY single beverage variation I've tried at 2 local Boba places have been ridiculously unbearably sweet. I've even asked for less sugar or syrup or whatever they do (like trying different flavored bubbles ,tapioca or square jelly bubbles etc..) I bet it is not this sweet in other countries lol. I really want to like it but damnnnnn I can't take all the sweetness

I can't say I'm surprised Mrgreed needs 2 bubble teas at a time. I'm not saying they are huge, but I love bubble tea and much as any other fein and there is no way I'm putting down 2, even if I wanted too.

Exactly, this is just like any other specialty dessert place. Of course I can get ice cream and smash up candy into at hone, but I still swing by marble slab sometimes.
Love Kung Fu, great drinks. No idea why people say to avoid Kung Fu, my Chinese-born wife thinks it tastes as great as some places back home, though there are certainly better options out there. You can adjust the sweetness in the app if you can't handle the sugar. And for those who think the boba are too sweet, you can't be serious. Flavorless dry boba are a sin of boba tea.

Unless you really love Princess Peach its only worth a trip when they run their B1G1 and even then the two drinks will barely fill up most people
Also watch out for their boba, it is super sweet and tastes off at times depending on flavor
