I've heard whispers that the guitar industry is getting ready to collapse, like everything else lol... might be a good thing to scoop up for science to see if it appreaciates in a few years. Not sure which plant these are made in but if it's the Samick plant in Inonesia they're gonna be good and playable. They were liquidating 40th anniversary p-basses the other day, too fast to bother posting about here but I grabbed on for 175 new shipped, got here fast, is every bit as good as my MiM p and j basses... maybe better out of the box.

Stratocaster is celebrating it's 70th year anniversary. The Guardian had a nice article on the Strat and those who worship it. I was thinking IF the low end 70th editions go on "super" sale, I might pick one up......just cause...

I just realized that the 2-color sunburst one looks very similar to the monoprice cali classic, the fingerboard color is different though.

Purchased one before. Experienced some tuning stability issues with this guitar. Had to constantly adjust the strings during practice sessions.

Were you using the trem? If so try lubricating the nut and replace the tree saddle with a roller.

I have a Squire Bullet, SSS, I picked up around 5+ years ago. Plays great. Sounds decent. Only problem is the tuners. Got it on a holiday sale at GC, for $100 including a setup. I could replace the tuners easily, but haven't bothered...yet.
