I purchased a Vero once with an Intel 1235u, and the fan kicked on immediately. I measured it at 85db firing straight up at the monitor. It was the loudest fan I've ever heard on a laptop. I don't know if they've fixed this, but I returned mine the next day.

You probably got a faulty unit. 85db is like ultra loud for any laptop. Even the super high end gaming laptops don't go over 60 gb at peak load.

I have i5 version. Pretty good laptop. Especially the screen is really good for the price
