WARNING- Tv stopped working after 2 months of light use. Customer service is awful. Avoid Hisense by all means.
Been using Hisense for 4 years now no issues.
Have bought 2 Hisense tv's and would say that the issue for me was the google OS. I threw a roku stick on them and they were fine for what they were. If you are looking for a workhorse tv or elite picture, this is clearly not for you. If you are looking for price per inch then it is solid - not spectacular.
I think we all need to remember sometimes that while we all love the deal (we wouldn't be here if not) - there is always some "you get what you pay for" - especially when buying a large format TV from a budget company on sale.

I don't see anything on their website about 4 year coverage. It does say "member exclusive 3-year warranty" but I don't quite understand the meaning of that and kinda sounds fishy 😁

I bought a beverage ref from Lowes that was Hisense. It stopped working after a couple months. Lowes says it has a two year warranty on it. I called into their warranty department and went through the automated process of filing. The message I got was to dispose of it and buy a new one.
I keep hoping Costco will drop the price accordingly. I'd like this as a cheap set in my front room. Mediocre tv overall by modern standards, but great value per inch. Also, as owner of a couple cheap Hisense sets with somewhat limited use over 2+ years, I've not experienced any issues. Those are Roku based sets though, so there may be some other issues associated with android/google OS.

I have a 55" u8h and after 1 year it looks like someone spilled blue ink on the screen. Hard reset does nothing. Complained and posted photo on reddit Hisense page and got downvoted into oblivion. Have extended 5 year BB warranty but they will not touch first 2 years, only Hisense.

the good news is, in 1 more year, BBY will give you all your money back toward a better set.
My u7g I bought a couple years ago had been great. They fixed a lot of issues with firmware. I was stunned when two years after release I got basically a free upgrade that had some more gaming features.

Who is the 4 year coverage through?
Same here but I bought one from Walmart last year.
