WARNING- Tv stopped working after 2 months of light use. Customer service is awful. Avoid Hisense by all means.
Been using Hisense for 4 years now no issues.
Have bought 2 Hisense tv's and would say that the issue for me was the google OS. I threw a roku stick on them and they were fine for what they were. If you are looking for a workhorse tv or elite picture, this is clearly not for you. If you are looking for price per inch then it is solid - not spectacular.

I think we all need to remember sometimes that while we all love the deal (we wouldn't be here if not) - there is always some "you get what you pay for" - especially when buying a large format TV from a budget company on sale.

Not to mention, Hisense CCP controlled. Decades of NSA warnings not to use them b/c of easily hacked and used by China 🇨🇳 to spy on Americans. If you do get, do not connect to internet. Just saying. #CyberSec

So what? Consumer reports says Hisense is has good reliability. Not as good as the Japanese brands, but better than TCL for example, and better than Hisense was in the past.

Great price on a good, cheap TV. I have this TV and the image is great. The contrast is really high, the colors are great, and blacks are really black considering it doesn't have local dimming or an OLED panel. I use it with a Roku, not the google TV that is on board.

The only bad part is there's no local dimming and when watching in a dark room the TV needs to be viewed dead on to get uniform blacks. Even then you can tell black is not black (this is going to always be true on a TV without infinite contrast) and there is some lightness around the edges.

It's a cheapass tv for 75". People have serious issues if they expect more. It gets the job done for basic TV needs. I never sign up or login for anything and just cast stuff or use an external stick.

I for one like to hear when people have had issues with it. I purchased a TCL TV. I knew it was going to have "mediocre" picture and was willing to deal with it because it was for the bedroom. It only lasted 1.5 years. Thank goodness I bought the extended warranty. I just got a check for the purchase price as the panel went bad. Now I have this TV sitting here that I have to get rid of somehow. It "works" but it has a BIG HORIZONTAL line going through the middle of the screen from one edge to the other. My point is... the TV should last longer than 1.5 years and I like hearing about people that have issues with particular brands. My Samsung only lasted 7 years, my LG lasted 3 years and now the TCL only lasted 1.5 years! I am tired of these junk TVs that are filling the landfills. I never even considered Hisense and I will never purchase a TCL again. For those willing to take a chance on them... good luck.. make sure you buy the extended warranty on them. I rolled the dice this time and bought a Sony mainly because it had a 3-year warranty and then I got an extra 1 year via BJs.

I don't see anything on their website about 4 year coverage. It does say "member exclusive 3-year warranty" but I don't quite understand the meaning of that and kinda sounds fishy 😁
I believe that means Hisense gives you a 1 year warranty on the product, and then BJ's gives you an additional 3 years after that 1 year warranty is through.

Keep in mind though that it means the first year you'll have to deal with Hisense directly for any issues (BJ's won't do anything because their warranty hasn't kicked in yet), and the Hisense service is known to be terrible. In fact, if the set is going to have an issue you might be better off just waiting 'till the 1 year is over and going to the BJ's warranty coverage instead of going to Hisense.

I have to put my two cents in here. I have the Hisense Google based tv and it is absolute garbage. Resets constantly, remote issues, speakers turn themselves off, very slow, and the ads are relentless. There was an option to turn them off, but the latest update removed the option so now constant Google and Disney + ads. I've contacted Hisense multiple times and they have never come close to helping with any of the issues. I wouldn't take another for free.

I bought one a couple years ago now. Last year a few dead pixels just showed up....coincidentally right after one of their MAAAAANY updates. Their warranty service was great, in that it didn't take long and they replaced the whole TV. That said, the service tech was sketchy...essentially plundering the TV for all parts, even ones not required by Hisense.

No problems/issues since...though I've since disconnected internet from it and get far less OTA updates than all the apps that supposedly "needed" to be upgraded/updated/etc

If I owned a business I think I would use this to display my menu or whatever notes of life.

I don't think I'd put this in my home, as it would be a huge waste unless I just wanted to fill up a wall and didn't care about electricity....

I hate the Google smart interface... incredibly slow and frustrating. I will only buy a TV that has Roku from now on.

There are issues with ANY brand's cheapest version of anything, from TVs to shoes to tools to whatever. I suggest you pony up a few more dollars and get a good MODEL that's built to last, regardless of brand.
