This unit is model 34WQ60C-B , the one from thh deal a few weeks back and sold from/at LG .directly ~ The more rercent one from the Staples deal was a 34BQ77QBB .
Unless I'm mistaken, this appears to basically be the same panel as the Staples deal from a few days ago, but without the built in dock. This might actually be better for my uses. The dock would have been a waste, so I think this actually works out better in my case.

This is an IPS which is good. Curved Good. LG Good. 60/75hz is the only minor negative but lets be real here. $250 for a curved IPS LG panel. It only being 60/75hz is not a big deal in my book.
Sure I'd rather have 120/160hz but find an IPS curved LG panel with that at $250

Seems lacking speakers too compared with Staples version. However I don't know what dual controller mean. It will take 2 computer inputs like the Staples one?
I feel like it's been hard to find a curved ips LG monitor of this size with 100+ refresh at this price range. Mostly only seen VA panels around this price range (approx $199).
I bought this a month or so ago. It became backordered after I purchased & had to wait a month, but it's a really solid monitor for teleworking purposes. Great color reproduction.
Not bad only negative is it is 60Hz, I think this is the new floor price for 34" 60Hz IPS ultrawides
No it's not. The Staples deal was a USB-C monitor and 3800R curvature. This one is different. I don't think this is a good deal at this price compared to the Staple deal which I'm typing on right now.

Which is better?
Staples deal is better. USB-C with a hub (USB A up/downstream) and power delivery and 3800R curvature. You can connect with your laptop using one USB C cable from this monitor and it powers and acts as a hub.
