It'd be nice to know in advance. I'd hate to have to actually go in and explain this promo to one of the employees at my local Chipotle. Most of them are wearing AirPods and seem irritated if they have to talk to anyone beyond the bare minimum order-taking stuff.

Chipotle always requires so much effort to get a coveted discount.
Dress up, text at exactly the right time, etc.
I still go there when I have a craving but just accept that I'm going to pay full price.

The last time I got a great offer there was Halloween when their system crashed and you could get the discount by just telling an employee.

They used to have a "Dress like a burrito" day and would give you a free burrito. I would swing by Dollar Tree and get a roll of tinfoil, then roll it around my head and arms.

I had a hockey jersey and just did it without any problem. Employees knew about the promo and there were people in line with t-shirts or sweatshirts who were getting it without any problem but maybe YMMV on that.

Also if you have a Chase Freedom credit card, one of the 5% cashback categories this quarter is Restaurants, so fyi.

Wore my hockey jersey and the girl rang me up. She knew about the promo but kept forgetting to ring everyone up for the promo.. I'm sure the cashier didn't care for the difference between a hockey or football jersey since she seemed to forget that I was wearing a jersey in the first place lol.

Well I just walked into chipotle looking like a doofus in my old hockey jersey only to be denied at checkout because "they haven't told her anything. 4114 Sepulveda in case anyone is considering going in LA.
