I have one of these and a mini, and I absolutely love them. I don't use them very much so I can't say much as to durability, but the action is snappy and "entertaining". I have a few Civivi as well from the current deal and previous deals, and I am impressed with their knives. I have four now, and they all have excellent make; the blades are center, and the weight is what you would expect. Heavy with a heavy material for the handle and light with light material. My recent purchases are the Banneret and Synergy 3 with Damascus and a g-10/carbon fiber handle. Both are excellent make, look, and feel. Getting back to this Kalashnikov, mine are both perfect, and for this price they are a no-brainer.

I purchased one of these recently when it was on sale for $35. For the price, action is excellent and very fidget worthy. This is a deal since the drop point version of this knife goes for $65-$70. Same exact knife, just different blade shape.

I have enough knives, but I really like boker. I had a knife made in 2003 where the little screws in the handle fell out (the ones that adjust tension for the liner lock, etc). I called them in 2021 to see if they could help me find them so I could buy them.

turns out they are totally discontinued of course and those are unique screws. so they called their workshop in germany and had a pair sent to me - apparently some of the last ones around.

I paid a total of $5 for shipping, and it was on the honor system - they shipped it to me first, and then said that I could send them $5 for shipping.

Technically, this is a Boker Plus. This is not a Boker Manufaktur or Boker Solingen which are the high dollar knives made in Germany. This is made in Taiwan, but still a fine knife.
