Crafting a quality cigar is serious business, and creating something new is even more of a serious challenge, but the Nub Habano 460 manages to achieve be both while being a serious value. Seriously. Alright, alright, we'll stop. But you can't deny Nub as a brand has transcended its short, stout form to become a popular and well-regarded stogie with fans from all parts of the aficionado spectrum. You may think it gimmicky, but smoke just one and you'll quickly come to love the complex and cool smoking blend of Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos covered in, what else, a delicious Habano wrapper.
Being able to choose from among the best leaf to be found in Oliva's vast growing empire has given Nub's rollers a perfect excuse to show off their skills. With nothing less than a 58 ring gauge and no length longer than four inches there's so much tobacco packed into every vitola it would be understandable to find the occasional soft spot or plugged draw, but somehow each one is as flawless as the next. This means that all the smoker has to do is sit back and enjoy crisp flavors of fresh roast coffee, oak, caramel, and a touch of red pepper.
