Since when does Brickseek only allow you to put in one zip code? I went to check another zip and it only shows Internet number now.
I figured out you have to go into the account settings and change your zip settings everytime you want to lookup a different zip code and apparently it only lists 2 stores max now too. What a joke brickseek has become. Good luck charging $10 a month.
Couple things here.
1. Waxed car. No wax and the water won't bead, so it'll be a big flat wet paint surface.
2. Tap water and minerals.
The old mr.clean auto dry car wash kit had a deionizer + filter cartridge that got rid of junk in the water. Nowadays, Amazon etc have other, larger water deionizer filter kits that do the same.
Get rid of the minerals, no or less water spots = no need to wipe dry as the water beads on a waxed surface and rolls off easier deionized and filtered.
3. Air nozzle speed.
Air compressor and tiny air compressor nozzles usually blasts air far faster than a lawn blower. Meaning you'll definitely get all the water blasted off with an air compressor, maybe with a lawn blower (which is like those drive thru car washer blowers).
You'll just have to stick the nozzle closer to the paint surface to compensate.
This good to use when washing cars to blow the water dots off the exterior of the car vs wiping down with a microfiber?

Thanks grabbed one. Interestingly the HD product page indicated it was on clearance at my store with quantity available and price, however it wouldn't let me check out online for store pickup.

Brickseek may be useful to check more stores in the area:

I own this and like it. Plenty of power. I use it in turbo a lot as its super powerful. I may try to find one just to have the extra battery and sell the blower.

It does the trick for sure, although you have to get kinda close so it takes a bit of time

WARNING: I'm going to grab one tomorrow.

what is the runtime with 4ah battery?
Typically, take aH # x 10 / 2.

So 4 x 10 / 2 = 20 minutes max at slower speeds, but expect less on turbo mode.

One big reason they've got the backpack of batteries unit to run electric blowers long enough to make commercial gardeners interested in moving from gas. Otherwise, runtimes just aren't great with electric.

Those calculations sound about right for mine.

Turbo is great but the battery does drains incredibly quick.

Very good. I have been using a corded one all the time for my convertible, preserving my paint from scratches. Especially for the soft top, a microfiber can't do much. Just do a quick wipe on the window then use a leaf blower is 95% able to get it dry. For some remaining small water dot, just put a microfiber on top to absorb them.

But after asking about the runtime, it seems that 10 something minutes might not be enough for a soft top, perhaps a regular car would work

Yes, kinda sad how they do that now and it's full of ads, quiet annoying

Hmmm, this must be a slightly lower model with only 125mph air speed.
