Drywall screws are very brittle and really should not be used for mounting weight. Not the right screw for shear applications
I am going to try to forget I read this post. The tool organizer is intentionally designed 16" wide so the the user can mount the rack to the studs. 2" drywall screws will do the job better than the plastic wall anchors. 4x 2" drywall screws in the studs could hold 100lbs. Nobody is going to have more than 50lbs on these shelves.

Looks similar to a slickdeal I got a few years back that included 2 of these. It's a stretch to call these "heavy duty", but they do the trick. I have a set of mostly kobalt xtr tools which generally work fine. strange shaped tools like a powered ratchet don't hang well, but those work fine on the middle shelf. I don't use any screwdriver storage holes, the racks are high enough on the walls that they are really inconvenient..

He's saying you should use screws that are actually made to hold up to shearing force, like construction screws, not that you should use anchors. Torque created by shearing force is not relevant to how much the shelf can hold, it's relevant to the screws themselves and their tolerance before breaking. Besides that, most people don't just have drywall screws lying around. If someone casually passing by reads your original post, it's better to direct them to look for screws that are actually intended to withstand shearing force created by shelves, etc.

I love mine! the hole spacing is a little weird for mounting, but once its mounted it stays and can hold a good amount of tools.

8" height is a deal-breaker for me. Bought a 15" height model in Feb for $22 and happy with it. Still available for around $23: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...=UTF8&th=1
