Bought them for this price a year or two ago from secondipity - highly recommend them. Audio is great. They're comfortable. USB-C is a plus (upgraded from the XM2's). Headphones arrived in excellent condition with all accessories and the travel case.
They also have XM5 for $183. I bought the XM5 instead.

Great price, but I ended up buying the latest model of Bose QuietComfort headphones Open Box even cheaper for $126! The UPC lined up with the model currently selling for $350 on Amazon. I bought the last one apparently:

90 day warranty. You get 20% off any extended warranty you purchase as well, so the 2 year warranty addon is $18.

I was considering the XM4s or XM5s for the gym, where good ANC is really needed, but they are not sweat proof or sweat resistant, apparently, so I guess they do not suit my needs.

With proper care and a little diy Sony wireless headphones can last many years. I still have a pair of Sony's MDR-100ABN, which was released in 2016. It was the less expensive sibling of the original 1000X. My pair is now 7 years old and I use it every day in LDAC mode with my smartphone for lossless music streamed from my PC. The sound quality is quite remarkable for such small drivers and the tiny battery that drives them.

Back in 2021 my headphones stopped holding a charge. I was tempted to upgrade to a newer Sony model. After some research I decided to buy a new battery. Found the exact battery for my headphone on eBay. Unscrewed a few screws on one of the ear cups and swapped the new battery in. Easy peasy! Purchased new ear cushions and put them. The headphones were like new again and it's been smooth sailing since then.

My favorite use for the wireless Sonys is connecting them to my Amazon Fire Stick to watch and listen to movies streamed through Kodi. Watched the classic Leon The Professional this past week. Eric Serra's soundtrack came to life with throbbing bass notes and shimmering sleigh bells . Just amazing!

As long as you don't toss your headphones around and replace the battery and cushions as needed theses headphones can last perhaps a decade or more.

Try before you buy. I've worn Bose QC models for over a decade of office work and air travel. I wanted to upgrade, so I tried Sony in an airport store. They felt much heavier and warmer on my head, so I had to pass. Too bad, because the sound was much better than Bose.
