Not wanting to be THAT guy but do you think 1296p is that much better than 1080p? I'm seeing many iffy reviews for 2k vs 1080.
Also to consider:
At 1080p resolution, a 256 GB Micro SD card should be able to record up to 768 hours via the camera's 24-Hour Recording storage method.
At 2K (3MP) resolution, a 256 GB Micro SD card should be able to record up to 512 hours via the camera's 24-Hour Recording storage method.
That being said, thanks for the suggestion, I bought 2 of each version.
