I wear it for a variety of calisthenics, but mostly just for going on walks and adding just enough resistance to make it interesting. It distributes weight better than a backpack and I don't have to worry about loading/unloading a pack constantly.
The only thing I have to worry about is looking like a weirdo in the neighborhood

I bought the padded, boxy llooking vest. I wouldn't wear it in public lol. This one could be more discreet hidden under sweater jacket
