Not disagreeing BUT as long as you have SOME money paid on the respective credit card, the trip insurance applies. So when I'm paying with a GC, I always put some $ on a CC to activate the travel protections.

The Disney card is supposed to be $100 for $90, the one that I see through that link is $200 for $190.

So I WAS able to purchase 2 of the $90 gift cards yesterday at around 5:45 EST. When I sent the link to friends, there was no link. It may have been a really lucky glitch because there was no link when I logged into my other Sam's account.

We are too! If you have a cash app card, you can get 2% off your Sam's purchase too. There was another fluke deal the other day at Sam's - $200 cards for $185. I got $1k worth for $906.50 with the discount & 2% off.
