Thanks, just used it. You need to $10 more to get free shipping to redeem $10 i.e. total $20 spending.
Also ,another $5 for membership which will be credited by Amex though.

You don't need to spend $20 for an in store pick up order, only for shipping.

Order online for store pick up to just get $10 worth of stuff for free.

Honestly if you just go into CVS and buy something for $10 it's probably only worth $5. It's possible to get value out of extracare but IMHO if you find yourself wasting too much time trying to save money (which, you are on this website) I caution against it. I end up standing in the store for 10 minutes trying to find something on the circular and then kicking myself for valuing my time for so little

Any idea if you spend $5/$10 with an online order to trigger the offer (without signing up for ExtraCare+)?

This is only true if you buy things at CVS at their standard non-sale price. CVS actually has some very good prices when you purchase their on sale items.

Free $20 of merchandise.
