the US feedback of the only seller with more than a dozen reviews is full of 1 stars calling it a scam with fake tracking numbers
anything expensive on aliexpress is a gamble
this is 80-90% of a trackman's accuracy for 25% of the price- that said it needs more more room and a clear picture and a special kind of ball to produce those accurate results. this is portable so you could take it to a driving range for instance, but most people in the market for a launch monitor are buying it for an indoors home setup
It's 80-90% the accuracy for 3% of the price lol

Just got into golf a few months ago. Is this similar to the Trackman/Top Tracer tech they have at some ranges but just a portable version?

Its fairly accurate but do not trust the spin numbers unless you're using an RCT ball. I would use it to get an idea of carry distances but don't expect it to be as accurate as GC3/GC4 or trackman.

Had it for a few months now. R10 is unable to track slice/hook or draw/fade. Fun toy.

Dang! Just did some research on launch monitors. The price is nice, but I keep reading the MLM 2 Pro is best for the under $1k category. Anyone care to comment or know how to get a discount on one of those?

I picked one of these up right after release and used it a ton the first winter. I set up a simple indoor sim in my garage. I'm a low 20s handicap so pretty bad lol. It absolutely had a positive effect on my game for two main reasons. 1. I hit a shit ton of balls in winter when I normally hit none. 2. It was about 95% accurate in the direction of my shots. So a slice went right and a hook went left. How far left or right it definitely isn't the best but for someone like me just trying to straighten out a slice it helped a lot.
I found distance to be about 1 club shorter then what I was getting on course. Part of this is on course I'm always seeing the full roll out distance and the r10 goes by the initial flight.
The only reason it got way less use the second winter was because the garage space got consumed by other projects and I had less time.

If your looking to dial in distances to the yard this isn't for you but if your on a budget and want a very fun way to improve AND you understand it may have a few hiccups you won't be disappointed.

Own one myself, enjoy it. Is it perfect? Not quite, but it gives me a better idea of what to expect. I use it at home with a net and sometimes take it to the range with me if there's an issue I'd like to focus on. This is capable of syncing with your phone as well to video your swing, which I def recommend!

$40 a month no interest with Amazon visa is very tempting. Close to what I spend monthly on the driving range.

Rapsodo MLM 2 is definitely more accurate with the RPT ball. Compared it directly with my GC3 and the numbers are very comparable. However, my friend who owns the MLM 2, says he suffers from random connection issues when trying to use it as a simulator. YMMV.

I think you need a subscription to access a lot of the data. I hate that type of thing.
