Remember, discount tire will price match both Sam's and Costco. Even the free installation. They have the same road hazard protection. Though you have the option to purchase even better protection. Always get it done at discount tire. You'll get better service and incredibly quicker. You'll be done before even Sam's or Costco sees your car.

Also, if you're going to use this deal, you should call your local store and get things scheduled for the weekend of 5/3 - 5/5.

I called and was transferred to a "centralized" tire & battery center representative. She checked my tire size and placed an order for me that I will pay for on my scheduled appointment on 5/3. She made the appointment for me, everything was pretty smooth. Highly recommend that approach.

That's how Sam's is now. They have an overseas call center setting up the appointments. Sometimes you might struggle understanding the person on the other side of the world, but I think it's better than the Tire Center employees never answering the phone at the store.

Yesterday wife got a nail in her Corolla in the channel after work. Seems like sabotage. Got a set of BG Advantage Control for $502. I know that most shops won't patch this. Homeboy tires patched the hole for $20 while we wait for delivery.

Sure. I have purchased 3 sets of tires in the last 6 months or so and it is no issue with road hazard. Road hazard is not the same as roadside assistance. I am not sure if you are confusing the terms? Road hazard is in case you destroy a tire, you pay a prorated rate for a new tire. Roadside assistance is more towing, jump start, flat change, etc.

No. Discount tire's new customer service initiative is anything BUT helpful. If you're in a high volume location, they WILL turn you away for a simple tire patch if there is as much as 1/32 of uneven wear across a tire. Ridiculous

Thanks - I see now, the fine print says the tires have to be purchased at Walmart in addition to W+ membership. I buy my tires from Sam's anyway but interesting to know. Sams' does free flat repair for all members regardless of where you purchased the tire.

Yes it worked when I called next day. They knew of the promotion and they took my order which shows $80 as installation charges but they told me that on 5/03 they will take off the installation charges honoring the promo and give $100 discount on tires. Today I installed and they honored the promo prices as promised.

Ok need some help for a tire newbie here:
I did my first tire change a month ago from Discount tires. One tire got damaged. So got two tires replaced (Yokohama AS) for 500$

Will I be able to add two more tires from Discount under this deal ?
Edit: since Yokohamas are not on sale, should I find another tire available and change all 4 now?

Remember certain tire brands come with roadside assistance just for buying their tires. I had discount tire price match Sam's club, got michelins, and michelin's come with three year roadside assistance. You just have to register on their website. But make sure you purchase from an authorized tire dealer
