Remember, discount tire will price match both Sam's and Costco. Even the free installation. They have the same road hazard protection. Though you have the option to purchase even better protection. Always get it done at discount tire. You'll get better service and incredibly quicker. You'll be done before even Sam's or Costco sees your car.
Also, if you're going to use this deal, you should call your local store and get things scheduled for the weekend of 5/3 - 5/5.

I called and was transferred to a "centralized" tire & battery center representative. She checked my tire size and placed an order for me that I will pay for on my scheduled appointment on 5/3. She made the appointment for me, everything was pretty smooth. Highly recommend that approach.
That's how Sam's is now. They have an overseas call center setting up the appointments. Sometimes you might struggle understanding the person on the other side of the world, but I think it's better than the Tire Center employees never answering the phone at the store.

You get $ 80 of install for buying DSW 06 continental tires. The question I have is can you get the $110 rebate from continental for buying tires from sams. Thanks

The order I placed showed the discount and free installation on checkout. But, the order summary under my account is showing full price with 80 dollar installation 😭. Anyone see the same?
Update:

Order was placed Thursday night.Tires arrived Saturday and I went directly to Sam's to pay and get them installed. Discount and free installation were reflected in store, but not sure if they would be if paying outside of the promotional period.

With no appointment, the install took 3 hours, but no damage to rims or anything. So happy with the result!

I checked at Walmart and they have Goodyear at around 80 each and the installation cost is 19 each. Does this fares well over Walmart deal?

Does anyone know if new valve stems replacement is included in the installation package by default ?
Or do I need to tell them specifically ?

Are you sure both discount and free installation will be honored if done post 5/5 ?
Saw some comments here that the total price on order confirmation is different from cart total. Did you end up ordering and order confirmation shows a different price?
I called to confirm that it will be honored. Also took screenshots on phone as proof what was in my cart before I hit purchase.

My tires are ready today, however I just noticed the confirmation email says "Prices and availability of items in your club may vary and are subject to change without notice. Instant Savings are applied at time of pickup as long as you pay during the offer period."

Edit: got home and read the other comments. Thanks for confirming!

Walmart for some reason has been crushing prices on tires, if you don't need Michelin, etc. and you're okay with Douglas or something like that. Walmart+ includes road hazard for free. Worth a look. For me Walmart has been close to half price of what Sam's has been running.
I went with Goodyear Reliants instead, cost just a tad more vs Douglas. They were out of stock when I ordered them and the customer rep asked me if I wanted Douglas instead, I replied no and he even said he would not as Douglas tires are thinner.

The problem I have had with Sams is service after the sale. Needed a tire rebalanced and they were weeks out on appointments. There was one tech sweeping the shop when I was there asking for help.

You are absolutely correct. They have a made for Walmart Goodyear tire that is a great tire. If you can hold out until black Friday, they have awesome deals on tires.

I grabbed one set for BF, then 2 more sets so far. Not as good as BF, but pretty close. I like Sam's but it is easier and cheaper for me to deal with Walmart lately.

Yeah, not sure on the specs. I would have to look at that, but Goodyear makes Douglas tires.
