If you compare the specs between the S6 and S9 FE then you will be happy with your S6. The key difference is the Super AMOLED in S6 vs TFT LCD display in S9 FE. Also, Qualcomm in S6 vs Exonys in the S9 FE. So the S9 FE is pretty much a downgrade but the downside is no more software/security updates for the S6.

I was able to replicate the deal but ran into some quirks. If I used my corp discount, I could no longer trade in a S6 Lite, only up to the S5, so it was more expensive. Also, by default, it adds in the book cover keyboard at 50% but when I went to checkout, it was out of stock and wouldn't let me place the order. But for a non-corp discount, no keyboard buy, I was able to buy the S9 FE for $99 after trade-in.

Looks like the trade-in price is the same for the standard S6 also. I've been using one for years now and love it. But, it is aging a bit. Any thoughts on if it is worth going from the S6 to the S9 FE with this deal with a normal S6?

Good deal only if you have an s6 to trade. I got the previously posted deal for the s9 fe 128gb for $263 no trade. But in order to make it work it has to be ordered on a s22 or similar phone.

Have had the tablet for a few days and so far love it. Comparing it with my hacked Kindle 11max. It's similar in size and weight. A little shorter but same screen size. Love that it comes with the pen. Best of all no need to hack to get play store and all the Google goodness without the Amazon funk.

I went back and forth between the fe and plus but in the end the base model fe is all I needed. the size and weight is perfect as an everyday carry. only wish is it had 5G. though I'll keep an eye out for the next model trade in with 5G.

Is the S9 FE($450) worth it over the S6 Lite($430). The MSRP suggests they are similar.

Also, do we need to trade in the pen, when we send in the S6 lite

Given that a tab S6 lite is $199 and so this would be $300+ after taxes.

You'd be better off using the $263 S9fe deal posted a few weeks back.

For some reason I kept thinking this was the S7 FE after trade in but kept wondering why the screen was 10.9"...
