I know this is probably a silly question, but could these be used for gym bags or are they "too advanced" to be such? Trying to get into a healthier routine and realizing I have a lot to haul around. Just wanting some wise feedback.
I have this and I actually use it as a gym & spa bag and its perfect size for it. i also use it as a weekender bag sometimes. Lack of laptop compartment is kinda bummer but I just throw a case on it.
Anytime I can get an Osprey bag under $100, I get it. These bags are awesome and they resell better than any other bag. So durable and functional and look great.
For those talking about a shoulder strap, I have the 60L version of this and use the two straps together as a shoulder strap. I actually prefer this over standard shoulder straps. It does not flop around as much when walking and sits higher. I use it as my carry-on on flights and I fly A LOT for work. The two straps can be secured together and I have them at the longest setting. I am 6'3" and that length works great. When walking through the airport, it is not bouncing off my hip and moves less than a single, standard shoulder strap. If you want a longer strap, this will not work but I prefer this after using many standard duffel bags for travel.
