Not really, no. Performax is probably better quality overall and it has a 10' cord vs. a 6' cord on the Bauer. I bought the Performax when they were similarly priced last year mainly because of the extra cord length and am happy with it.

You can also show them on your phone, or write down the coupon code and tell them the number at checkout.

With a buff pad. I'd pick a buffer over this because the sander is pretty loud compared to a big buffer

If you look at the plastic castings on the Bauer and the Performax, they are identical outside of the color. They are likely the same sander but the Performax has a longer cord. I'd go with the Performax for the cord length.
