Have the Logitech G915 and it has a bad double click issue and this is the second time in a row it's had it. Reviews look good on the GMMK 2 though so going to grab it and hopefully it's okay Smilie

I finally gave up on "cheap" keyboards and purchased a Corsair K100 RGB optical switch keyboard to see why anyone would spend that much on a keyboard, with the full intention of returning it. Two and a half years later and I still love this keyboard and will never go cheap again. If you can afford it, give it a try it's the best keyboard I have ever had. 😉

Which switches are in it? BB page doesn't specify?

Research says they use "Glorious Fox Switches" which are a linear proprietary switch.

No, I didn't. I suggested another option that is a great keyboard, in my opinion. The K100 RGB optical is a $250 keyboard msrp. This is a $120 keyboard msrp. Cheap is a matter of opinion.

I tried the K100 with the full intention of returning as I said because to me it's expensive. I kept it because it is amazing, and I love it. As I said, if you can afford it, give it a try. If you can't, then don't. Stop trying to make it seem like I was insulting people, I'm just providing another option based on my personal experience.

Thanks, I picked one up after reading reviews that it's fairly quiet. My current blue switch keyboard is way too loud for me to even type out notes during a conference call.

the K100 is overpriced trash

not hotswappable, can't swap plates, the iCue software is abysmal, not USBC, no option for wireless, oversized, cheap quality materials, etc.

For $250

hahahahahaha

For all the people who down voted this comment. Please look at the current keyboard market and see how outdated & overpriced the Corsair K100 is for it's price point. For the same price of that K100 you can get a keyboard that uses the new magnetic hall effect switches:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glQNEbh79xg

There are many companies that uses these magnetic switches (Wooting, Steelseries, AKKO, etc). I still use my Corsair K90 keyboard w/18 macro keys from 2012, but the current prices Corsair charges for their keyboards are a insanely bad value compared to the competition.

You could always try it and return it if you don't like it... You could also use an app like... I don't know...Slickdeals... and wait for a sale, or ebay, and even Amazon pre-owned.

Just wait until you experience a custom build.

Custom built, may be amazing I agree. I have zero experience with custom build and wouldn't even know where to start honestly. I do ask how much do you think a Custom Built keyboard would run you?

I see them like computers with Custom built water cooling (Not AIO's), they are great looking and are probably amazing to use and own but they are way outside of my ability to build one or maintain it. I looked up my receipt for my K100 and I paid $150 + tax, which is still bad but livable.
