This should have been the retail price at most.

It would be a terrible price for a 2tb SSD, but this is proprietary design to go in the Xbox Series X/S expansion slot. If you've got a playable cheaper solution for that specific use, please post it!

Correct....Most mouth breathers here have no idea how Xbox storage works...Is it expensive by comparison? Sure, but no other storage option allows installation of current gen titles.... Downvotes can COPE, lmao

Yeah I'm surprised by the downvotes.
Obviously this thing is over priced for what it is, especially compared to the PS5 upgrade path. But, this is still a good deal for those needing more native storage for Series games. There are no other options.

I am so damn disappointed in the price of these. I have been waiting for a year to jump on a good drop and nothing has come up except that amazing Target clearance sale and I missed that by like two days. I was so mad. I finally just bit the bullet on one of these at But I haven't opened it yet, I am thinking about returning it.

This price is super high and Xbox has also been a let down in the last year or so overall, I don't know if I feel good about keeping this at this price, might just take it back and hope to get something cheaper one day still.

Exactly. WD makes ones that might be a little cheaper but no 2TB option. I hate finally pulling the trigger on this as it's likely one of those things that has been about the same price forever and will drop 25% as soon as I buy.

This is slickdeals, downvotes are common because they're free.
