As always, this deal is effectively useless due to how difficult it is to find any single GameStop store with 4 pre-owned games you actually want, let alone ones that are all < $5 or < $20

I found four games marked $4.99 with little issue at one of my local stores. You can have the employees print up a list of the games within a certain price range across whatever platforms you choose to make things easier. For me there's at least three stores within 5 miles of my house. Between those three I can easily mix and match to get four or more.
Obviously not all areas and stores are the same, hence why these deals are YMMV for some people.

How would you be able to mix and match games from different stores to redeem this deal?

I routinely do a return and re-buy. They return everything bought from the other store(s) and re-ring everything in a new transaction at that store.
It's not bad if you have multiple stores within a few miles of each other like I do. It also helps to ask for a printout of their available stock as they may have stuff that they don't have a case for out on the shelf.

You've got some good GameStops by you then because not all their employees could handle that. Not trying to be mean but just saying 3 pickup orders this holiday season weren't marked as picked up when I got them and I got a GameStop gift card in the mail for a return payment. Really took the sting out of having to buy the Bluey video game.

Aha, did not know you could do that. So even if there are 4 different stores in your area each with 1 game you want that's eligible for this promo, you can make it work, provided you're willing to do all the driving and returning/rebuying. Makes sense. Thanks for the tip. Thumbs up

If you need a bunch of copies of FIFA 21, my GameStop has your back!

What state are you in?
You have some good employees if they do that for you.
from reading the gamestop reddit, upper management has gotten really strict on pushing pro memberships and even the gamestop credit card. Same with game warranties
they don't like it when you return games from another store because it counts against that employees metrics. I'm not sure of all the details but there are a lot of angry gamestop employees

But if you're turning right back around and rebuying something else at the exact same price, wouldn't that even it out? Regardless, if it's store policy to accept the return, doesn't seem like they could justifiably turn you down just because they feel like it.

Dang, thanks for the info, was about to bring my son today to pick up some games..

Most of the employees are OK with it since they know the selection per store is so so.
