100% cotton and NOT wrinkle resistant , if you press shirts on your own, this is going to be tough.

I've ordered 3 of these Essentials shirts more than 2 years ago and they are my "go to" shirts when I'm outside working in my yard. Yes, they are 100% cotton and are wrinkled after drying, but who cares because they're my yard work shirts. They are breathable and comfortable, and mostly importantly they keep the sun off my arms when outside.

i typically wear XL. Amazon says XX-Large is your recommended size based on millions of customer orders, returns, and reviews.

Do these things run small?

You need to select your size first and then start browsing different colors for the price, not all sizes in all colors are on sale.
Besides that, I am not sure how it runs big or small and reviews aren't much help in terms of sizing.
Also, the pictures are so misleading some of the shirts show big and tall models.

Get em both and return one. I've found that the recommendation is usually spot on for myself though.

pretty happy with these shirts. wish i'd bought more.
i got the XL and find that they are pretty accurate sizing.
