Product Overview

This super-versatile battery powered transfer pump can be used with gasoline, oil, transmission fluid, water and other non-corrosive liquids. The durable impeller pump transfers over 6 quarts per minute. Perfect for home and shop use.

Ideal for transferring gasoline or diesel, changing oil, cleaning aquariums and more
Efficient battery operated pump moves over 6 quarts per minute
Lightweight and easy to store
I use one of these for filling gas powered lawn and garden equipment and an ATV directly from a portable 5 gallon gas can. I also use a separate one for filling an RV from 5 gallon jugs. Much easier than lifting and filling directly from the jug, and the pump fits down to the bottom of the jug through the opening. Uses 2 D batteries and I use 2 D adapters for AA batteries which works just fine.

The cheapest item that is closest to this is $14 at Amazon. It is very rare to see these come on sale for this price...

FWIW, I dont think I'd use a $7 Chinese battery-operated pump to transfer gas.
Not even in your garage.

This thing is junk that said it does work but is prone to falling apart and generally to underwhelming performance.... You definitely get what you pay for that being said it is this price or less on alix 24/7. that it uses D batteries is just dumb.... Who uses D batteries for anything. It actually does work pretty good for gas.....

I have it for 2 years now. Still holding. Use to drain the generator before storage.

Like others have mentioned, it's a horrible product. Only used mine about 5 times to transfer gas out of my outdoor power equipment and started having problems with turning it on. On mine, it was issue with the contact points at the cover making contact with the battery and the metal ring inside. Avoid this thing. Waste of money. You are better off with the manual pump.

I would recommend a jiggle siphon. No batteries needed unless you're going against gravity.

Buying the copy cat junk from China I had that issue and leaking but harbor freight has been solid

Works well but 2 issues.
1. Won't drain the fluid completely, it will leave 2-3cm at the bottom.
2. It leaks from somewhere where the long tube attaches to the main drive unit. Nothing I've dones prevents the leak but it's not a dealbreaker as the leaked fluid is basically draining back into the source container and you will eventually get it all.
