You all shouldn't be buying this and doing your own electrical if you're saying 10/2 and 12/2 don't have neutrals. /2 have hot/neutral with ground (black/white/green). The 12/3 is for your three way switches or duplex outlets and has hot/neutral/hot or traveler/ground (black/white/red/green).

\2 implies a hot, neutral, and ground. So technically 3 wires in it

These are 50 feet each, very good deal. 10/2 50 feet is $119 at my local HD and 12/2 is $74.

Both 2 wire, also what are you really doing with 10? Not common at all unless you're wiring an EV outlet which 10 might work, but with 10/2 you won't have a neutral unless you run another wire.
Both 10/2 and 12/2 have a neutral.

There's one black, one white, and one ground.

Two wire means it has 3 wires for for 110v. It has 3 wires. Hot, neutral and ground. 10/2 is for a 30 amp circuit. If you had no need for a 30 amp, at this price just use it on a 20 amp circuit. Also good to minimize voltage drop on a 50 ft long 20 amp circuit.

HD for some reason is keeping their romex prices ridiculously high. On normal Amazon (aka not through this deal) it's closer to $70 for 50ft of 10/2.

Flaming hot, price mistake type pricing. Picked up one because I was going to need some 14/2 soon and this costs less than 50'.
