The dude was running 60 watt load . If he tried 200+ he would get better results. Running such a large inverter you will get terrible efficiency. Combined with a large hourly consumption 2kw sounds about right.

The point of a large backup can be to run a smaller load (like a 1A fridge and a couple lights) for a longer period of time in an extended grid outage. If the unit is so inefficient that it can't handle smaller loads, then that's pretty useless for my purposes.

-No wifi/BT connection. All the big power stations have this.
-No name brand. Good luck with warranty purposes.
If I'm going to take a chance on a no name brand, it has to something cheap. $1500 is a bit much to take a chance on.
Show us where you can get a brand new Ecoflow with LifePO4 for 32¢/Wh. It is per Wh, not per kWh as you said.
