Insane price
But definitely the worst platform to own non-MA titles on with the very limited viewing compatibility options
Thanks for sharing OP

$5 is great for these. I'm not a fan of the MS store/experience so I'll pass. Good luck to everyone else

This is CRAZY, I can't BELIEVE it worked. Seemed too good to be true, maybe some kind of prank or troll action. Five bucks for all of it, WOW.

Dang I bought this without reading these aren't Movies Anywhere compatible. It is confusing. I just assumed everything available on Microsoft Movies and TV is compatible with Movies Anywhere. Oh well.
Dude, it's $5 .... for 25 Bond movies.

I'm watching them tonight before they take them back from me. Vudu took back my Hunger Games (2023) D2D, and Amazon Prime took back my 3 movies I bought for $0.00. Big Grin So at least this time, I'm going to watch them as free rentals.

Hopefully, they won't claw back like the "free" 2001: A Space Odyssey from Amazon a few months ago.

(I am on a Mac) so under the BUY button it says :
"Can't play on this device. Check system requirements."

Then if you click it shows this:
system requirements
Windows-Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 or later
Xbox-Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X
Mobile-Windows Phone 8, Windows Phone 8.1, Windows 10 or later

Hope this helps someone!
Thanks for posting this. It would be good if OP added this to the deal description to clarify the limited playback options.

great price but pass on microsoft tv app purchases. without a microsoft tv app for android and ios, the microsoft store is basically windows or xbox only.

Well...you could almost say the same with Mac OSX apps and purchases from the apple store - ie. The specs say you need a Macintosh....

....but the savvy pc users know, PCs ARE better than Macs because with hackintosh.com, yes you can run mac osx on your PC and play apple store purchases just fine...
Funny, I was just about to post that savvy Mac users can install UTM and run a Windows 11 VM on OSX for free and play movies and TV purchases just fine...but I wouldn't go so far as to argue Mac is superior to PC, just different machines for different users.

Apple is chasing efficiency while Intel/AMD are power chasers.

Heck, I'll buy it from iTunes even at 200% more. iTunes has this in 4K and I have none whereas I have the last 5 on VUDU.

Yeah, 2019 and happened past midnight. Still a lot of people got the deal, I wasn't up at the time. But at the time 4K wasn't available from VUDU.
I was awake and I saw the posts about it. Tried to grab it on the PC, but it seemed to only still be active on Android because people were still posting about grabbing it. That's the last time I ignored "too good to be true" posts on Slickdeals. Big Grin

Do we get to own this and watch it forever? Or can they revoke usage after a while like games are doing now?

Bought the entire series of Friends from Microsoft for $10 as a "season 1" price mistake and Microsoft honored it.

So I'm hoping they honor this.

What a deal! Thanks!
