Last Christmas, they had a promotion for $10 bonus card with $50 gift card purchase. I figured that since I regularly get Ono coupons in the mail, it would be good to pick it up. First, the bonus card has an expiration of Jan 31st. No biggie, lots of chains do that. Second, if you see on any of Ono's coupons, it says NOT VALID with gift cards. Yes, that's right, you cannot use gift cards to pay for orders in conjunction with coupons. I thought gift cards were supposed to work like cash? In the state of California, you can even request a cash refund of the balance of it falls below $10. Who comes up with this kind of policy that gift cards can only be used for full priced orders? I wish L&L was still around because Ono has gotten cocky since they are the only Hawaiian chain in the area.

It's not too bad esp since they gave lots of sauces while Panda Express order forgot my sauces.
I think it's a good deal since most of their plates are $11-16 so for a $7 meal it's not bad.
