Can I ask... wouldn't a portable induction burner be a better buy? Yes you need to make sure if you have the correct pan/pot. But you can do so much more than this one trick skillet. Or am I missing something

I have this and while it works well the center of the cooking surface is raised which makes it a pain to cook sometimes.

Get inductive burner...I put it directly on the table for hotpots... Just need cheap extension cord. It's a multitasker too
