Love mine, however I'd wait for Syncbox 2 to come out (rumored to released early 2024, so it's overdue). The current Syncbox has older tech and doesn't support HDMI 2.1

I feel like it would just be distracting. Anyone have experience with it?

I think it looks amazing! I don't know if I like this particular setup because I recall the boxes don't do HDR or Dolby Atmos or something...

It's really good on an OLED and in a dark room. Bright colors look really cool (kid shows or animated movies). Looks less cool on regular shows like Shogun or sports.

There are significantly cheaper alternatives in my opinion.

I have had mine for at least 2 years. I feel its well worth it, and adds to the experience no matter what I'm watching. I would not say its a must have for those on a fixed budget for their media room. TV quality and speaker system/AVR take precedence over these lights. But if you have already optimized the rest of your setup and want something more this is it.

It works with 4K/60Hz, HDR, Dolby Vision and Atmos. It does not work with 4K/120Hz.

It's amazing and adds to the experience. I don't have video of the strip with the sync box but I do have video of the bars with the sync box. Same effect.

This is a solid deal for people who need both. I thought this is overpriced compared to my regular light strip until I learned how this is different and what it can do after that 65" Woot deal popped up.

I've had the hue sync box for years. Works perfectly with HDR and DolbyVision stuff.

I have a Samsung oled tv s90c and I hear I can just use the app instead? Would it be worth just waiting for a deal on just a lightstrip without sync box, or do you think sync box 2 will have features that even the tv app will not have ?
