Yes, Frito Lay is one of the worst. A bag of chips per oz. is like 3x more expensive than a decade ago. Plus they always kill off my faves like Extreme Sour Cream and Cheddar Doritos, Cajun Ruffles... How many versions of a hot chip do we need? They all taste the same. Just not worth anymore.

Please excuse my rant. Tired of my favorite foods being ruined or discontinued by Corporate America so they can save a couple bucks per ton.

My biggest issue with these kind of variety packs is that they always contain at least one flavor nobody in our house likes and we end up having them left over.

Food like this doesn't magically go bad right as soon as it hits the expiration date. As long as it's not many months out of date you'll be fine. Besides, the dates are "Guaranteed Fresh by X" dates, not real expiration dates.

Since the baked ones taste like cardboard anyway you really won't notice if they are stale.
