I've been noticing that intermittently. I've been getting year old bags from Amazon and the Little Italy shop. I ordered six or $10 or whatever and you know that they've been sitting around for a while when they manufacture. Date is a year old and I just opened a bag of lavazza super crema today which I'm going to dump in the garbage that I got from Amazon... I'm going to go back to ordering from places that send you fresh coffee because generally when I buy it outside of Amazon or that Little Italy they come without air and then they're still shrunk down into square bricks, not bloated.

People gave me a ration of crap on here when I complained about the stale coffee Lavazza sent me last fall. I complained to Lavazza on Amazon and they happily sent me a second batch of stale coffee. That was it. I stopped buying their coffee after that. I'm very tempted to go for this deal but I've got PTSD from the last go-around. Maddening!
