I have both. I got a tramontina set a bit smaller than this from Costco (made in Brazil) and two all clads (one large frying pan and a roasting pan)

Zero difference. I wouldn't shock them with ice cold water from red hot to test the extreme, but heat distribution is identical. no warping...all stay flat on my countertop as well as on the induction.

All clads support is horrendous; that alone has turned me off from the brand. Costco's return policy makes these a winner.

You can fry eggs in stainless steel but there is a specific process. Pan needs to be super hot. Check YouTube for a demo.

Does anyone know if you can this set in-store for that price or is this online only?
You'll occasionally see reports of people seeing them in-store but it's mostly an online thing. You can call your store to check availability (use the item number from the Costco webpage to save time). For what it's worth, I called around and there's no in-store stock in the Denver area, and it's apparently listed in their computer system as an item they don't plan to restock in any of the Denver stores.

I have this set going on 3 years and it's fantastic. Really solid and once you know how to use it properly, frying eggs etc becomes a breeze

Not too impressed with this set. Frequently leaves oil residue on the pan after cleaning. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but that has been my experience so far
My 2x as expensive All Clads also do this.

Other than a slightly different handle shape, these appear identical to the set I got from Sam's Club a few years ago. They're also made in Brazil.

I love them except for the fact that the edges aren't rolled. Pouring out of these just makes a mess. It's a weird design choice.

Handle gets hot, need to use pot holders
I don't have this issue with my pans from this company. Eventually, there will be thermal transfer, but not for quick stuff like burgers and such.

Well, I got my set and they had multiple dents with red permanent marker circled on 2 of them. Must have been one that was supposed to be held up in QC. Lol... I ordered another set, no way it happens 2X 🤣

Received my set today, made in Brazil! It was also very well packed, no dings/dents to be seen. Very satisfying to pitch out my scratched up nonstick set.

I'll add that I visually compared the 10" pan to the 10" pan from the China-made $30 Costco set (featuring 10" and 12" pans) and they seem very similar. Minor differences in the handle shape but otherwise pretty much identical. And same weight to within 2 grams.
That said, I'm keeping the Brazilian 10"!

Any good short article or better yet a YT video explaining how to cook to properly use stainless steel cookware? First set
