I think the 100 count for $8.70 is a better deal.

Ibuprofen is metabolized by the liver. I had a liver transplant and cannot take ibuprofen for this reason.

This is an odd post in my feed for SD, but I will say that these DO work as rapid release. For those times when muscle aches or pain need some more rapid attack. They do NOT last as long for pain mgmt, so like overnight Tylenol use is better with more traditional Tylenol products.

Like a capsule that contains both instant release beads and extended release beads?

Since I drink alcohol, I try to avoid acetaminophen since it's metabolized in the liver (as is alcohol). I usually just get ibuprofen since it's metablozied in the kidneys, so it gives my liver a break — especially if I have a hangover!

As a random SDer .. nobody can trust what any of us say. But.. I know human physiology and medical science -- buy the 500 count 500mg acetaminophen from Costco, it's the same as the companies who sell advertised acetaminophen under a brand-name & you'll pay roughly 2 cents per tablet

Be careful with that as ibuprofen can cause ulcers. I took it 1x per week for about 4 years and it happened to me.

As an expert in small engine repair and aluminum siding, my best medical advice is to save the headache and don't go to costco on the weekend.

*claims of expertise are unverified and not sanctioned by any health care agency or hospital affiliation. Results may vary. Contact your physician to see if small engine repair and aluminum siding are right for you. Do not ingest. Keep away from small children, the insane and the elderly. Keep really far away from insane elderly children. May cause rectal bleeding, eye fungus, ringing in the ears, nasal irritation, cranial detachment, and frontal lobe deterioration. 4 out of 3 persons who've tried aluminum siding and small engine repair experienced these symptoms within 30 minutes. The fourth person was an innocent bystander. This can happen, will happen to you, all legal claims are void and nulled, no express or implied warranty, by engaging in small engine repair and aluminum siding contracting you waive all legal rights and agree to have disputes arbitrated by my uncle Joey.
